The guy who mentioned GTA had multiplayer code was partially right. Remedy is gonna make something entirely new after MP2 ports is over and done with AFAIK, and that's confirmed. Remedy will NOT make the next Max Payne game, so I guess Rockstar will choose someone new now, and/or make a movie first.
someone makes a new engine for the game, or rewrites it enough from the bottom (which would be stupider). There will NEVER EVER be a Max Payne multiplayer UNTIL. You won't believe how many times I've heard the questions, can we have multiplayer in Max Payne (1 and 2), will it come in a patch, will it come in Max Payne 3, will it come if some uber guy makes it, can we have the source so someone can make it. I've followed Max Payne closely since 1998, I speak with 2-3 of the devs every day and I have close connections with Rockstar. I'm the webmaster of the Max Payne fanpage some of you might know, called. I had just had to bump this thread a bit.
